#How to use joytokey on steam 480p
I remember paying $3600 for a 42inch flat screen that was 480p however it could play any high definition signal just it displayed them at its lower pixel count. 480p tv’s existed and actually were called enhanced definition tv. Because th old vcr tv signals were what 480i? DVDs came along and we got 480p and component cables which gave us our first glimse into what was coming. Take that same vcr tape and vcr player and play that on a brand new 4k tv and it will look so bad you won’t even be able to sit and watch it. Take a VCR tape ( if you ever could find one ) put it in a vcr hooked up to a old crt tv. It doesn’t matter what you set your settings to, your tv screen cannot produce extra pixels or take pixles away. Ever since crt monitors went away whatever resolution screen you have no matter what you set your settings to it’s going to display at your monitors defined pixle rate.

If the monitor is 8k (forget the refresh rate that’s a different story) and you set the game resolution to 1080p (effectively 1k) the game on your screen will be displayed in 8k using 1080p texture assets. I’m guessing they did this to be able to get 60fps.Ĭause like I said over or under 60 and pinball feels like your playing fake pinball. They took games and basically turned off all the video options, in the options menu that adds the shine to the game. That’s why the 1up tables look like trash. Just turning up AA to max in the options settings etc on the atgames I haven’t seen any jaggies at all. It’s not needed on the legends pinball table. This is basically a super form of super sampling that will easily clear away any jaggies you might see. If they were, I could still run the game in 4k and just like a 4k screen upscales a 1080p image by filling in the gaps, a 1080p screen will take a 4k ultra sharp image and downscale it to fit 1920 x 1080p. I just had to turn off g sync etc off because the atgames screens aren’t high end computer monitors.

The Xbox series x version of fx3 not only displays in 4k but also HDR color.Īs for the internal resolution of the game it’s 1080p on my computer like I said bevause I’m using 3 1080p screens. Not having HDR or Dolby atmos is where you see the loss.

That’s why crappy 4k TVs the images look like trash, but the top ones sometimes you can watch a blue ray 1080p movie on a 4k screen and barely tell the difference. The screen will upconvert the image on its own to 4k.
The max resolution also no matter what you set the game resolution at will display whatever tv or monitors resolution is. My tv is also g sync and hdmi 2.1 and had VRR enabled for gaming. Give your gamepad a try, it certainly won't hurt to have it handy. On the Xbox series x it’s in 4k with 4k assests. Any standard dual stick gamepad with a USB connector should be compatible with TerraTech, and the default controls are decently configured for the most part. There isn't really a strong demand to get it working either. Gamepads are king when driving, but there are so many things that the mouse handles better that I always keep one within reach.Īs for the input menu, there is the odd mention of it on Steam and Reddit, but the thing has never worked, it seems. Occasionally, I even hold the gamepad in my left hand while using my right to control the mouse, just as you described! This is something I tend to do while making quick field repairs, or while deploying techs, the sort of situations where I intermittently move and place objects. It isn't unusual for me to drive around using my gamepad, and then set it down and use the mouse for building and crafting. You can definitely use your keyboard and mouse in tandem with gamepads.
